We are proud to share that the Indonesian Prenatal Institute recently participated in the Grand Final Pitching of Pikiran Terbaik Negeri, held on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Ciputra Artpreneur, Kuningan, Jakarta.
During this prestigious event, we presented our innovative project, SafePrenatal—a comprehensive solution aimed at enhancing the quality of screening and prevention of preeclampsia in Indonesia. This project is founded on five key pillars: research, service, campaign, technology, and training. Since its inception in 2019, SafePrenatal has been implemented in seven maternal and child healthcare facilities in Jakarta and its surrounding areas, leading to significant decreased in pre-eclampsia among women in our population cohort.
Our participation in this event reflects our commitment to advancing maternal and child health in Indonesia. The mission of the Safe Prenatal project is to reduce the incidence of preeclampsia, which directly contributes to lowering maternal and infant mortality rates in Indonesia. By addressing this critical health issue, we aim to foster the birth of a healthier generation for the future.
The event was graced by the presence of the Indonesian Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, Mr. Erick Thohir. We are honored that the SafePrenatal project was recognized and supported by him, underscoring the importance of our work in improving prenatal healthcare across Indonesia.
