The Prenatal Ultrasound Course Batch 4 has officially concluded, marking another successful session of intensive learning and hands-on training in obstetric ultrasound. Over six days, participants engaged in a comprehensive curriculum designed to enhance their skills in pregnancy screening, ultrasound interpretation, and maternal-fetal care.
Day 1-3: Online Sessions – Building the Foundation
The course began with three days of online lectures, covering essential topics such as:
🔹Screening for pregnancy complications and early management
🔹Basic obstetric ultrasound techniques
🔹Postpartum care and family planning services
Through expert-led discussions and interactive Q&A sessions, participants strengthened their theoretical understanding, setting the stage for the practical training ahead.
Day 4-6: Hands-On & OSCE at Prenatal Center
The offline sessions took place at Prenatal Center, where participants applied their knowledge in a clinical setting. Key activities included:
🔹Hands-on patient scanning – Practicing ultrasound techniques under expert supervision
🔹USG Simulation with Volutracer OPUS – Enhancing precision through advanced simulation technology
🔹Intensive hands-on training – Ensuring participants gained real-world experience with ultrasound equipment
On the final day, participants underwent an OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) to assess their skills and readiness. The closing message emphasized the importance of continuous practice—because ultrasound proficiency is built through experience.
