The Indonesian Prenatal Institute (IPI) was honored to be part of the webinar “Accelerate Women by Accelerating All,” organized by the Cochrane US Health Equity Mentoring Program on March 6, 2025, in celebration of International Women’s Day. This event provided a valuable platform to discuss innovative approaches in maternal and fetal health, aligning with IPI’s commitment to early detection and prevention for better pregnancy outcomes.
IPI’s Executive Director, Dr. Adly Nanda Al Fattah, MD, delivered a presentation titled “Predict Earlier, Prevent Earlier for a Better Generation.” He emphasized the importance of early screening and intervention, particularly in preventing pregnancy complications such as preeclampsia. By ensuring that expecting mothers receive optimal prenatal care, we empower them to make informed decisions that lead to healthier pregnancies and better long-term outcomes for future generations.
The event also featured insights from Tiffany Duque, MPH, RDN, Founding Director of the Cochrane US Health Equity Mentoring Program, who spoke on “Pioneering New Paths in Global Health and Science,” and Dr. Jennifer Bernal Rivas, MD, a Global Researcher and Professor specializing in Maternal and Child Nutrition and Migrant Health, who highlighted the strength and resilience of women in “Stronger Together: Women’s Strength and Resilience.” Their discussions reinforced the critical role of health equity and interdisciplinary collaboration in advancing maternal and fetal care.

Through initiatives such as Safe Prenatal, IPI integrates cutting-edge screening technologies with educational programs to empower healthcare professionals and expecting mothers. Our participation in this webinar reinforced the necessity of evidence-based strategies in reducing maternal and neonatal risks, ensuring that every pregnancy receives the best possible care from the start.
As highlighted in the discussion, our key takeaway remains clear:
“Empower women, empower prenatal care, and empower the generation!”

We extend our gratitude to Cochrane US for this opportunity to share insights and collaborate with experts dedicated to advancing maternal health globally. IPI remains committed to innovation, education, and accessible healthcare, working toward a future where every mother and baby have the best chance at a healthy life.
