The Indonesian Prenatal Institute (IPI) and RSAB Harapan Kita have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), establishing a strategic collaboration to advance maternal and fetal healthcare in Indonesia.
This partnership serves as a foundation for cooperation in clinical services, training, and research within the field of obstetrics. Both institutions share a common vision: to build synergy and collaboration that enhances the quality of maternal and child healthcare across the nation.
Under this agreement, IPI and RSAB Harapan Kita will work hand in hand in supervising low-risk pregnancy screening at the Prenatal Center while ensuring proper referral pathways for high-risk pregnancies that are identified. The collaboration also includes joint efforts to design and deliver educational and training programs for healthcare professionals, particularly in the early detection and prevention of pregnancy complications.
Beyond clinical services, both institutions are committed to reaching the wider community through public education and awareness initiatives that strengthen understanding of reproductive health and safe pregnancy. Research is another cornerstone of this partnership, with both parties agreeing to conduct joint studies in maternal-fetal health, exchange relevant data and expertise in accordance with applicable regulations, and publish findings in national and international journals to support evidence-based practice and healthcare innovation.
Through this MoU, IPI and RSAB Harapan Kita reaffirm their shared commitment to saving more mothers and babies by combining clinical excellence, academic research, and community-based education.
