The Indonesian Prenatal Institute (IPI) is pleased to welcome a new research collaborator from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, a Master’s student in Global Health, who will be joining IPI in upcoming research initiatives. This collaboration marks another meaningful step in strengthening global academic partnerships and advancing maternal–fetal health research in Indonesia.
With shared interests in population health, maternal well-being, and evidence-based care, this partnership opens the door to a range of insightful research opportunities, particularly in the areas of preeclampsia screening, prenatal care quality, and community-based maternal health interventions.
Over the coming months, IPI and our collaborator from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam will begin developing joint research activities aimed at generating new knowledge, improving early detection frameworks, and understanding real-world implementation of maternal health programs such as SafePrenatal.
This collaboration also reflects IPI’s commitment to nurturing international academic networks and contributing to global conversations on maternal and child health. By integrating perspectives from Indonesia and the Netherlands, both parties hope to enrich scientific inquiry and produce impactful findings that benefit mothers and babies across diverse settings.
InshaAllah, many exciting research projects will unfold soon.
IPI looks forward to fostering this partnership and continuing its mission to advance maternal–fetal health through research, innovation, and collaboration.
