From October 28–30, 2025, the Indonesian Prenatal Institute successfully held the 6th Prenatal Ultrasound Course, a three-day program designed not just to teach, but to transform learning into real-world impact. Guided by IPI’s core philosophy, “I Learn, I Can, I Do, I Contribute,” this batch once again emphasized that true mastery comes from meaningful practice and service.
The course began with an online theory session, providing participants with essential frameworks in maternal-fetal assessment and prenatal screening. This foundation prepared them for what truly defines IPI’s approach: intensive hands-on experience.
Across the next two days, participants immersed themselves in real-time ultrasound scanning across all trimesters, gaining direct exposure to diverse clinical conditions and fetal development stages. Supported by skilled mentors, every scan became a learning opportunity, where knowledge met empathy, and confidence grew through practice.
Adding to the immersive learning, participants also trained using the Volutracer OPUS ultrasound simulator, a cutting-edge tool that enhanced skill precision before patient scanning. This blend of simulation and live practice created a safe, structured environment for every participant to refine technique and interpretation.
By the final day’s Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE), participants didn’t just demonstrate technical ability, they embodied the full cycle of IPI’s educational vision: learning with curiosity, practicing with diligence, and contributing with purpose.
Each batch reaffirms IPI’s mission to build not only competent professionals, but compassionate practitioners ready to strengthen maternal and fetal health across Indonesia, one skill, one scan, and one patient at a time.
