FIGO 2023: IPI Sheds Light on Stillbirth Risk Factor

Research from IPI Presented at FIGO Highlights Key Findings on Stillbirth Risk Factors

Paris, France- dr. Mirani, a research collaborator with the Indonesian Prenatal Institute (IPI), represented the organization at the XXIV FIGO World Congress of Gynecology and Obstetrics in Paris, France, from October 9 to 12, 2023. The presentation focused on stillbirth risk factors.

Dr. Mirani’s research findings revealed a similarity in stillbirth rates between the studied population and developed countries. Routine variables examined during the initial trimester combined screening for preeclampsia exhibited potential as predictors for stillbirth risk.

Her presentation at FIGO is a proud moment for us, showcasing the dedication and expertise of our research collaborators in addressing the prediction and prevention of pregnancy complications and striving to create a better generation.

The study has prompted further investigation into stillbirth prevention. IPI remains committed to advancing maternal healthcare. For updates on our research and initiatives, subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on social media.
